Experienced Surgeons
David G. O'Day, M.D. is among the most experienced and well-trained ophthalmic surgeons in the entire United States. He has successfully performed over 50,000 surgical and laser vision correction procedures in his distinguished career including cataract extraction/IOL implants, corneal transplants, DSAEK, LASIK, LASEK, PRK, PTK, CK, Epi-K, RK, AK, ALK, Intacs for keraoconus, IOL exchange, refractive lens exchange, pterygium excision, glaucoma filtration, and many other anterior segment eye surgeries. He was board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1994, and has maintained board certification continuously throughout his career. Dr. O'Day is fellowship-trained in cornea, external eye diseases, and refractive surgery, having completed extensive fellowship training after residency training. Dr. O'Day is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and he has been named as one of America's "Top Ophthalmologists".
